When thinking about the process of evolution, it's impossible not to think chronologically. Thus this piece feels the most like a goodbye to me - a goodbye to these past four years and the identities I've formed along the way. I had more difficulty starting this than expected; maybe it's because I still feel that my identity as a writer is far from complete.
