EMILY KUCHMAN
This semester, the beginning of my junior year of college, I took my favorite class yet at the University of Michigan, German Fascist Cinema in the 1930s (excluding this writing course, obviously!). My challenge for the piece below was to put into conversation the Nazi propaganda film Judd Suss and Joseph Goebbels' diatribe "Mimicry," comparing them on an aspect of anti-Semetic ideology.
I've included this for another taste of how I write and because I enjoyed the class so much!
